Hi I'm Heather

I'm a stay at home mommy and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have two wonderful girls and a great husband. I finished my college and graduate studies right before my first child was born and have been at home with my kids full time ever since. And I love every minute of it. Leaving the workforce was a big move but one I don't regret. My kids are a handful, but worth every second.

Why I am a Mormon

I have learned and continue to learn about love and learning as I watch my kids. Things are so simple for them. They love and help and learn so easily and I have wondered why things change as grown-ups. And I think what changes is that we think too hard and rely too much upon ourselves. Children love and want to be loved. Children help and expect help when they need something. They don't stop and wonder and analyze so much. When I stop complicating things and try and act more like my kids I realize that I am loved and help will come and has come. Things are simple. God made me and each of us. He loves us. He sent His Son to help us and He will continue to help us. He organized things, planned, prepared or whatever, things a long time ago and people then complicated things. But because we are His children, He still loves us and still stands ready to help us and put things back together the way He originally set them up again. He restored the plain and simple truths we need to be happy, have help and go back to Him again. That's why I'm a Mormon. Because even more than I love my kids, God loves each of us and has helped me to understand that it's simple--just ask, learn and He'll help us.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith one step at a time the way I think the Savior would have me to. I love my family and try to serve them and take care of them. I love my community and try to help and serve in it.
