Hi I'm Mechele

I'm a daughter, sister, wife and a stay-at-home mom. I'm involved with my Church and community. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My husband and I have been married for over 25 years. We have five beautiful children who are upstanding in their communities. I am grateful for being able to be involved with school and local communities as I have served on several committees and councils. I am currently serving as a Merit badge counselor for our local BSA. I am a member of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers and a member of the Mormon Battalion. I am grateful for the deep pioneer heritage in my family. I am most grateful for my membership in the LDS Church.

Why I am a Mormon

I have a strong belief in my Heavenly Father, who knows who I am and loves me. I also have a strong belief in His Son, Jesus Christ who atoned for my sins. He knows my pains, disappointments, failures, successes, joy and happiness. I know the peace Christ brings into my life. That deep faith that sustains me and buoys me up in my life. Trials come and go in life, He never leaves. Trust in the Lord ....

How I live my faith

I live my faith by serving the Lord. As Joshua (Joshua 24:15) once said, "As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord." I was brought up in serving the Lord in all my doings. I have supported my husband other various callings, including seminary teacher, Elders Quorum President, High Priest leader, High Council and while he served as Bishop (from 2006-2011). I have served as the Young Women's President in our ward. I love serving the youth. They have so much energy. They are strong young women of the Church and they are huge examples to their peers at school and in the world. I am constantly amazed by their strong convictions in their belief! I also serve as a Visiting Teacher. I love how we take care of one another. I have served in the Primary, Young Women, Relief Society Ward and Stake, Sunday School and on the Activities Committee. I have also had the opportunity to learn ASL as I have interpreted for a deaf sister in our ward. We are asked to stretch ourselves and learn. It is amazing to me as to how much I have learned and grown in each calling. I believe God directs us in paths that we don't know; that it will bring goodness and blessings to our lives.
