Hi I'm Margaret

I am from Arizona. I have been married for 21 years and have four children. I'm a former school teacher and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a mother of 4 children. My husband owns a landscaping business and I help him run the business. I have been working out of the home for about 16 years. I previously taught 5th grade and then later became a English as a Second Language teacher in the elementary schools. It was quite a privilege to work with young children from all over the world who were so eager to learn. They were so intelligent and grateful for the opportunity to be here in the United States. However, I decided that after having 3 children it was time to turn my full attention to my own children and I am so happy I did. I have enjoyed seeing my children learn and develop talents. It is always rewarding to see them blossom and turn into reliable young people. I look forward to my future with my family.

Why I am a Mormon

My grandparents joined the church back in the 1950s in New Mexico. I have often thought about that decision my grandparents made those many years ago and how it has impacted my life. As a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints I have been richly blessed with good parents who taught me such good principles that have kept me on a path of happiness. Even when times are difficult I have been taught to kneel on my knees to seek inspiration for any trial I may have. I have been taught and know that I have a Heavenly Father who knows who I am and listens to my prayers and concerns. I have been taught that all that I have comes from Him and that I should thank Him as well. I have been taught and know that I have, we have, a Savior, who is Jesus Christ. To Him I am eternally grateful for His sacrifice and example. I know he came to this earth to set an example and to die for us, but even more importantly I know He resurrected 3 days later. I know that He lives today. I know He wants us to return to live with our Father in Heaven. For these teachings and many more I am grateful to my grandparents, aunts and uncles, teachers in the church and especially to my parents. I know that what they taught me is true. This brings me much security even in challenging times. I know that Jesus Christ loves you and that Heavenly Father knows who you are too! Pray and you will know too.

How I live my faith

I love being involved in church. I especially love teaching the 3 year old children on Sundays. Every Sunday I have had an opportunity to teach these precious children about Jesus Christ and his teachings in the most simplistic ways. Simple lessons like you are a child of God, love one another, or about the earth and how blessed we are to have a home to live in that was created for us. We sing about Christ, about love and about families. We sing about working and do little mini crafts. It is truly one of my favorite things to do at church. I am grateful for the many opportunities to serve in my church whether it be teaching children, teenagers, or women. I have learned so much from those I have taught that honestly I have been the student and they the teachers.
