Hi I'm Chad

I grew up in Mesa Arizona. I Own a Furniture Store. and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

From a very young age I always wanted to own my own business. To live the dream of being your own boss and working in a family business. So in 1983 I started a furnitue store and have been working with my family in that business for over 25 years! It has been a wonderful experience and I have loved it. I married my High School Sweatheart in 1977 and we have 4 Sons and 2 Daughters. They are the love of our life, and they are all married now and we have 14 grandchildren. I love the outdoors and spend time enjoying it when ever I can. I love hiking, camping, Fishing, and especially relaxing on the back pourch at our little cabin in Alpine Az. I have pilots liciense and enjoy flying when I can find the time.

Why I am a Mormon

I was blessed to be born into the Church and I have 2 wonderful Parents that taught me the about the Church from a very young age. We I was 8 years old I was baptized and confirmed a member of the Church. I have always been active in the church. From my youth I have loved this Church and all that it is. It gave me such a great foundation to build my life on. I will always be grateful to my teachers and leaders and parents that helped mold and shape my young mind as I grew. There came a time in my youth when I wanted to gain my own testimony and not just live on the testimony of others. So I studied the Church and read the Book of Mormon. I prayed to know that the Book of Mormon was true and that this church was true. I received my answer and I have never doubted from that day forward. Over the years my testimony has grown with all the many experiences of life. These experiences have confirmed to me over and over again that this church is true. When I was 19 I was called to serve a mission for the Church in England it was there that my testimony really began to grow. I had so many special experiences teaching people of that great country about the restored Gospel of Jesus Christ. My testimony today is built on a strong foundation that begins in upper New York State in a place called the Sacred Grove, where I believe that the Father and Son appeared to Joseph Smith and called him to be a prophet of God and to usher in this new dispensation…The dispensation of the fullness of times. The time that the Church of Jesus Christ would be once again be restored back on the earth. I love to study the life of the Prophet Joseph. To him we as members owe so much. Understanding and believing in him and his testimony hinges the total validity of this Church. I testify that I know that Joseph Smith was a Prophet. That he was everything he said he was. All the happiness I enjoy in life today is a result of being a member of this Great Church.

How I live my faith

One of the Great Blessings of this Church is the opportunity we all have as members to serve. I love to serve in the Church. I have had many callings over the years. I have had the experience to work with the youth almost all the years I have been in the Church. This has been a remarkable experience for me to give back to the Church of which I owe so much. One day a few years ago I ran into one of my youth Leaders from many years past. I said Don I did not fully appreciate all the time and wonderful experiences you gave me as a youth. How can I ever pay you back? He said without hesitation....just pay it forward. You Give to others that which you have received. I said I would and have always tried to fulfill that promise. A very interesting things happens in the Church as you give of your time to serve others.....in every single case it has been my experience that you receive far more back in return than what which you give.
