Hi I'm Brycen

I am a missionary, who loves sharing the Gospel. I love music. I enjoy the outdoors, biking, hiking,or just a walk & I'm a mormon.

About Me

I was born in Utah to loving parents. In 2002, my family moved to Nebraska, where I graduated high school. I finished my mission among the Hispanic people of the great California Ventura Mission, and I loved it. I am currently studying at BYU which presents its own sets of challenges, but it's great.

Why I am a Mormon

As a missionary, I have the opportunity to meet and talk with new people almost daily. I find many who were born into the beliefs of their parents, and they are going to die in those beliefs, even if those beliefs aren't their own. Having grown up as a mormon, I feel that I may have taken a lot for granted, and felt similar to the description above. But, having the opportunity to serve a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ, I have put a lot of thought as to why I am a Mormon. I believe the way I do, and am a Mormon, because I have tested a special promise found at the very end of the Book of Mormon; a test which states that in order for any person to know if the Book of Mormon or the church is true, one has to read and study the Book of Mormon and then ask God in prayer to know if it is His divine word, as is the Bible. Because of this knowledge, I have made the necessary changes to my life in order to match my faith.

How I live my faith

I daily strive to live according to my beliefs. I have many opportunities every day, as a representative of Jesus Christ and His church, to share with others the happiness I have found in living the teachings of gospel of Jesus Christ. That is what it's all about. I know that everyone around me is my brother or sister, that we are all sons and daughters of God, and I want to help my siblings come to know of this truth for themselves.
