Hi I'm Becka

I'm a wife. I'm a mother. I'm a photographer. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm funky, spunky and LOVE everything vintage, shabby chic and country. I am a go-getter and an avid d.i.y, garage sale and thrift store junkie. I'm married to the most amazing man I know and we have one GORGEOUS little girl. She means the world to us. It feels like my life has been a whirlwind. I grew up in a military family, so moving every 2-3 years was the norm. I've lived in Europe twice and loved every minute of it. Being able to travel and immerse myself in different cultures around the world has been a huge blessing in my life and has really helped shape me into who I am today. Having the privilege to go to, and see so many beautiful places sparked my love of photography. There is something about capturing a moment in time that just takes my breathe away. I hope to one day have my own photography business. I love to read, decorate, cook, and laugh. Life is good... oh so good.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because it makes me happy, gives me hope, and helps my crazy life come together and somehow make sense. My testimony hasn't always been this strong. When I was 15 I fell away from the church, thinking I could make it all on my own. After all, I knew what was best right? For the next 3 years I made some very bad choices and pushed my family and friends out of my life. I was even taken out of my public High School and enrolled in Online courses. I knew I wasn't happy but I couldn't figure out why. It wasn't until something terrible happened to me, that I really started to question who I was and where I wanted to go. I hit rock bottom. I realized that the path I was on could never make me happy. I needed Christ in my life. I needed his everlasting love and forgiveness. It took me a while to climb my way back to the top. It took many tears and a lot of hard work. I had to completely change my life around and find out who I truly was. No one could do it for me. It took the amazing support of my family, friends and God, but I did it. I graduated High School early through BYU-Independent Study and was accepted into BYU-Idaho. I am married to an amazing man who loves the Gospel as much as I do. We will be sealed for time and all eternity next summer. I know that Christ lives. I know that this is the true church. Being a Latter-Day-Saint has given me back my life. I have a firm testimony in forgiveness and The Book of Mormon. I know that no matter how far we stray, there is always a way back. I have learned to never give up on myself because Jesus Christ, my Savior never will. I am worth the fight, and you are too.

How I live my faith

I live my faith the best way I know how. One day at a time.
