Hi I'm Travis

I live in Arizona. I'm a small business owner and industrial designer. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I recently graduated from ASU with a BSD in Industrial design and a BA in Design Management. Prior to school I served a mission in Bilbao, Spain. Most of my days are split between working for a local engineering company and my own small business which specializes is design, engineering, and CNC machining work.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because the teachings of the church make my life simple. The commandments have always seemed to me to be a way to preserve my ability to choose for myself what I will and will not do. By choosing to do what the Savior has taught, and what has been taught by His prophets and apostles, I am more easily able to determine if certain choices will make me happy and free. Living the gospel just makes sense.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith by looking for ways to apply the teachings of the Savior to myself. Often it is easier to look for faults in others rather than in ourselves. I find that often times it is I who needs correcting and could stand to change things about myself that would bring me more in line with the teachings found in the gospel of Christ. More often than not when I prepare a lesson or fulfill a particular church assignment I find that these opportunities have far more to offer me than I could contribute to others. Working on becoming more like the Savior brings a peace that cannot be found elsewhere.
