Hi I'm Sandi

I'm a Mormon. I was raised in an Air Force family and lived all over the world. I'm an actress, artist, student & computer geek.

About Me

There are so many things to do, see and learn in this life that I can never stop growing. I love reading, crafts, crochet, knitting, painting, pencil sketching, acting, teaching... I jumped out of an airplane for my 60th birthday. I am a complete computer geek. The difference between a geek and a nerd is that a geek has a personality outside of computers, a nerd can only talk computers :-). I teach computer classes on line and I am presently going to school to get my PhD. I love my family, especially my grandchildren.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born to a pioneer family. My grandchildren are the seventh generation of Mormons. We have been blessed through the generations because of our membership in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Knowing and understanding the Plan of Salvation has brought great peace to my soul. I am grateful for a loving Heavenly Father who knows me personally and loves me in spite of my faults. I have a firm testimony that the Book of Mormon is true, that it was written by ancient inhabitants on this continent and that it was written for our day, to give us expanded knowledge of the Lord's plan and act as a second witness of Jesus Christ. I know it is true because I have had a witness from the Holy Ghost. I know God lives and that Jesus Christ is his son, I know they love me and they love you as well.

How I live my faith

I have a lifetime of service in the church and have served in many capacities. This service gives me the opportunity to volunteer my time in the service of others. I know that when I am in the service of others, I am only in the service of my God (Mosiah 2:17). Currently, I am a teacher in the Primary organization teaching the nine year old children about the Gospel. We are studying the New Testament this year. It is a great blessing my life. I am a member of the Relief Society, the oldest women's organization in the United States. As a member of the Relief Society, I visit three other ladies in the church every month to check on their welfare and see if there is any service I can give to them.
