Hi I'm Rex

My family are loggers in Arizona. My extended family are good people of various protestant faiths. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love the outdoors! In the summer, its hiking, biking, climbing, and wakeboarding. In the winter, its skiing, skiing, and skiing! At work, I'm an engineering intern for a medical company who makes products that save peoples' lives. It makes me happy using my education to turn my ideas into products that help people in need. I'm in college, married, and hope to someday travel the world working closely with people living in rural areas. I hope, someday, to design and build bridges for those who otherwise can't by themselves.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because my faith has given me a personal relationship with Christ. I have had spiritual confirmation time and time again that this is His church. My dad's family are all of various protestant faiths. They are great people and have amazing faith in Christ and God. Their pastors teach good messages that uplift and guide their congregations. This church does too! We believe in Christ, we hope in Christ, and Christ is the Rock of our Salvation! I love being a Mormon because of the peace I get every time I pray, read scriptures, and go to church. The people in the church may not always be overly friendly, and may hurt my feelings sometimes. But, like me, they too are not perfect and are trying to better one day at a time.

How I live my faith

I live my faith one day at a time. I can't do it all, or learn everything all at once, or become perfect in once instant. I try to worship my Savior Jesus Christ as I try to be more like him. I do my best to keep all of his commandments, but I am far from perfect. Every day, I try to be better than the last. I take it one step at a time, and I think it is working. I look at where I am now and compare it to where I have been. I like the view from today! I can only imagine how much better it will be when I'm old and even closer to Christ as I am now.
