Hi I'm Heather

I am a graduate student, I am a wife, I am a full time worker and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a 25 year old female and I am currently going to school for my Master's in Business Adminstration (MBA). I have been married for 6 years to a wonderful man that I love very much. We have two dogs, a Jack Russell and a Rottweiler, who we spoil and love to take with us everywhere we go. I enjoy to stay busy and I work full time on top of going to graduate school. I would love to be a mother someday but we are currently struggling with infertility and haven't quite figured out how to make that happen. In the meantime we enjoy life, love to have fun, and are grateful that we have the gospel in our lives to get us through life's challenges.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I feel the truth of this gospel deep inside my soul. I have read the Book of Mormon, I have studied our doctrine and I have prayed to know whether or not this church is true. It is. The church is true and it is the only path that will lead to eternal life and happiness. I am so grateful to know that my family can be together forever and there is nothing in this world that I would trade that knowledge for. I have always felt extremely blessed that I was born into a home where the gospel was already part of our lives. I have been raised in the gospel and it has helped me to overcome so many struggles that life has thrown my way. Whether dealing with physical handicappes or emotional ones, the knowledge of the restored gospel has allowed me to develop a relationship with my Heavenly Father that has strengthened me in every trial and blessed my life greatly.

How I live my faith

I love all of the different opportunities that I have to serve in the church. Right now I am so lucky to be playing the piano for the children. I love going to church on Sunday and playing songs that are both fun and spiritual and watching the children sing their little hearts out. I also love the opportunity I have to visit with other women in our church. We become friends, we trust each other and we rely on one another. I know that these women are always there for me if I need them. This knowledge alone can be a great comfort in times of need. Every day I live my faith in how I dress, how I act and how I try to share to love that Heavenly Father has for me to those around me. I want the entire world to know and understand that they are a child of God and that their worth is so much greater than they could ever imagine.
