Hi I'm Aubrielle

I'm a wife, a mom, a professional social worker, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a stay at home mom of three sweet kids that provide daily opportunities for me to learn and grow. When I get the chance, I plan on going back to school to get my masters degree in Social Work and eventually work for an international humanitarian organization in the areas of micro-finance and education/literacy. I'd like to think I'm crafty and spend my free time working on projects ranging from learning how to knit, crochet, and tat, to making decorations for my home or clothes for my kids. Though I'm not terribly tech savvy, I'm a big fan of blogging because it easily allows me to keep my friends and family updated about the happenings at our house and it provides me an opportunity to show off my budding photography skills.

Why I am a Mormon

I've always been a member of this church, but I was a teenager before I realized what an impact it could have in my life. I was struggling with a number of challenges that left me feeling very alone and unsure of who I was. Through gospel discussions with my parents, I came to realize that I was a beloved daughter of a loving Heavenly Father. I realized that my Savior had suffered all pains, including sorrow, for my sake. He knew exactly what I was going through because he had already experienced it. I also came to know that I was blessed to be a part of His true and only church on the earth. That testimony resonated with me and for years I drew daily upon the strength that came with knowing that I was not alone because I am a daughter of God. That knowledge now is a part of who I am, and that is why I'm a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I love being able to serve in the church. For the past two years I have had the opportunity to work with the teenage girls of our ward as a teacher. There is something so fulfilling about being able to share my experiences with those girls and seeing it strengthen them. It gives them the tools they need to overcome the obstacles they face. It is so exciting when they share comments in class and testify of the principles that we've talked about. I know that this gospel is impacting their lives for the better because I can see the changes that they are making. I can see them turning into wonderful women who will have a great influence for good on the world around them. What a wonderful blessing!
