Hi I'm Kimi

I am dyslexic. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am of a stay at home mom of 4 kids, if you count my husband then its 6! Daily you will find me: doing a silly dance, pouring the 200 cup of invisible tea, sinning in a mega mike, laughing at the bottom of a kids pile, running after a child, racing someone to the swings at the park, rocking in the chair, fixing a boo-boo with a simple kiss or a band aid, being the dragon in a make-believe game, painting finger and toe nails to match a child's outfit, changing diapers/bed sheets/cloth, playing a board/card game, riding bikes to the park, making lunch, dinner, and some times breakfast, reading books out loud, listing to a child tell all about there day, coloring, being the road for some ones car, and most of all smiling! When the kids are clean and in bed I am then picking up there toys and rescuing some one from a bad dream. You may think that I am just a normal mom, but I am not. I am an EXTRA ORDINARY MOM!! Yes my kids say I have super powers.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the church it was all i knew until I took a class on other religions. i was fascinated with their beliefs and their way of life. I visited a few, but only felt really comfortable in the Mormon church. No matter where I go they are always happy to see me and welcome me with open arms.

How I live my faith

I help visit some of the ladies in my community. I also keep an eye on those who may need help.

What is being a Mormon like?

One of the greatest reasons for being here on earth is to "have joy" (2 Nephi 2:25). Personal prayer, scripture study, and attending church helps us better understand that the best way to find joy and happiness in this life is to know about Our Heavenly Father's Plan of Happiness, the gospel of Jesus Christ, and to strive to keep God's "law" (Proverbs 29:18). Families are an essential part of God's Plan and much of how we live focuses on our families. We want to share the happiness we enjoy with everyone we can through service, missionary work, and contributing to society. Show more Show less
