Hi I'm Carly

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I've been married to my husband for 9 years. I'm a stay-at-home mom to two little boys. I love spending my days with them and teaching them important things, both spiritual and temporal. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and taught 6th grade. Getting together with family is my favorite thing to do! We love to talk, eat, cook, play games, watch movies, etc. I also love to craft, cook, read, play sports and shop.

Why I am a Mormon

Happiness is my goal; both here on earth and in the life to come. The Gospel of Jesus Christ brings me happiness. I know that we have come to this earth to be tested and endure trials. It is how we handle these things and learn from them that will determine our happiness. Jesus Christ wants us to be happy! You too can find peace and happiness through His teachings. The gospel teaches important values (and I try my best to live them) that help my family and me navigate life with the least amount of resistance.

How I live my faith

My family and I attend church every Sunday. It's here where I worship my Savior, learn more about the gospel and serve by teaching. On Sundays, once a month, I teach a class to the women in our church. I love to prepare and share the assigned lesson- it strengthens my own testimony. With a partner once a month, I visit other women in our ward. We share a spiritual message and also talk about things that are going on in our lives. We offer to help in any ways that we can.

Why is family so important to Mormons?

Carly
We have been sent to earth and put in to families on purpose! It is part of our Heavenly Father's plan. In our families we can learn important relationship and life skills and receive support and strength to endure life's challenges. If we live righteously, we can live with our families in the eternities! Show more Show less
