Hi I'm Karson

I'm a runner, a water polo junky, a guy who knows his trucks, a missionary, a loving brother and uncle, and a Mormon.

About Me

I love playing water polo, it is the best thing to do for fun, I play football and basketball but I am terrible at them, I am not very coordinated outside of the water! I am from a background of truck drivers and artists, My dad, uncles and grandpa all drive Trucks long haul. their business is out of Preston, Idaho they take loads from Idaho Falls, Idaho to Chicago, Illinois and back to Salt Lake City, Utah every week, My mom is a cake decorator and is very good at what she does, her business is out of her home in Caldwell, Idaho, I am a tech junkie, I can fix just about any electronic part from anything, through high school, I fixed iPods with my friends for some cash, I also fixed things like Xbox 360s. I am planning on going to Utah State University after my two years service as a Full-Time Missionary.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church but I was never really converted my whole life, when I moved to my dads house in Sept 2010 I was just sort of inactive, Some kids I met invited me to church and so I decided to start going, I found some friends and did some dating and really started paying attention to church not just going, I got talking with other people who had previously served missions and they all told me it was the best thing they had ever done! I thought about it for forever and didn't know what to think, my parents all served missions in several countries but now it was my turn to decide, I got heavily involved with my elders quorum presidency and just felt like I needed to go. So I put my papers in and now I serve in the Ohio Cleveland Mission, serving bring people the Eternal Happiness I have recently learned I have always been a part of!

How I live my faith

I currently live my beliefs by serving faithfully to the lord 24/7 and bringing the truth of the fullness of the gospel of Jesus Christ unto the area I serve in.

Why do Mormons baptize their new members?

Karson
New converts are baptized so that they are able to receive one of the greatest gifts our Father in Heaven has for us, the gift of the Holy Ghost, which is a comforter and warns us of places that we should not go, it helps us learn, you cannot learn anything save it were through the Holy Ghost.
