Hi I'm Sarah Bullock

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a stay at home mom of six children. I've been married ten years to my wonderful husband. I love to cook. A few of my children have also shown an interest primarily in baking which I encourage most enthusiastically. I love to sing. I have participated in ward choirs ever since I was 12 and I just love it. I love to travel. Our family loves to camp and visit new places. We also just like to drive around and see where the road takes us. It's a great way to spend time with the family without tv or other distractions getting in the way.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the church. Both of my parents are converts and I grew up hearing their conversion stories. I had a strong desire to find out if this church was true. I gained a testimony of prayer at a young age which helped me to gain a testimony of The Book of Mormon and the prophet Joseph Smith. My testimony continues to be strengthened and I am so grateful for the opportunities Heavenly Father gives me to grow and learn.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by teaching my family what I believe. I also try to live so others can know what I believe by how I act.

What blessings can you receive from reading the Book of Mormon, the Bible, and other scriptures?

Sarah Bullock
I have received many different blessing from the scriptures. One is comfort. There are so many uplifting messages in the scriptures. I especially like to read about Christ's life in the new testament and the love that he showed to his disciples. I have also gained knowledge and testimony. Through study and prayer I have received understanding of certain principles. One of my favorite verses is John 7:17. It says, "If any man will do his will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God, or whether I speak of myself." That has helped me trust to practice what I read. Through that I have gained my testimony. For example, tithing, in Malachi 3:7 a promise is given. It reads, "Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it." I have practiced this principle trusting in the promise of the Lord and the scripture has proven itself. I have always been blessed for paying my tithing. Another blessing I received is enlightenment. I have turned to the scriptures feeling confused and clouded. As I read, a verse will strike me and make things clear. This is one of my favorite things about reading the scriptures. It always gives me goosebumps and reminds me that the Lord has given us these scriptures for all of us. I can personally grow from my reading of them. Show more Show less
