Hi I'm Brittanie

I'm a daughter, wife, and mother. I belong to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

About Me

Growing up I have many fond memories of building forts and playing outside, but my fondest memories are from the times I spent with my family. My family was and is everything to me. I was born to good parents who taught me to love the Lord and my Savior and to serve and love all those around me. They taught me to be an active member of my community and a responsible citizen. I went to ASU to get a Bachelors Degree. I married a wonderful man and together we have a three month old little boy who is the love and joy of our lives. I want to be a good mother to him and teach and raise him in everything that is good.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a member of this church because first, I know it is true. I used to hear people say this all the time and I would think, "how do they know?" I finally decided I wanted to know for myself if I believed this or not so I took the challenge to read the Book of Mormon and pray about it's validity. Even though I was raised within this church, in my adult life I had to make a decision as to whether I wanted to continue in this faith. I had to know and define what I believed. After reading and praying about the Book of Mormon and whether Joseph Smith restored the church, I had a burning within while joy and peace and the knowledge that God was aware of me flooded my body and mind. I know without doubt that this is the true and restored church. How grateful I am that we are led by a true prophet who continues to receive direction from God for his children today, just like ancient times. I know that through his Son is the only way we can return to live with Him. I am also so grateful for my knowledge of the Plan of Salvation, and that in temples we can be bound to our family to be sealed to them through the eternities.

How I live my faith

I try to follow the commandments and serve those around me. I read my scriptures and pray often as I try to get through the difficult things in life. Life is not easy and I need all the help I can get! I'm so grateful to be able to lean on my Heavenly Father. I love going to church every Sunday and refueling for the week.
