Hi I'm Jim Marquez

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am an Arizona native, the only one from my family. I am the youngest of nine children. My parents moved from New Mexico and we've been here ever since. We love the outdoors of northern Arizona, every year we go camping to enjoy the Earth's natural beauty and each other. I love to hike, fish, and mountain bike and to relax with the fresh mountain air.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I was baptized at eight years old. I really love the church, so many wonderful friendships I have. I totally love the Boy Scouting program I was so involved in it and earned my Eagle Award. I learn to be a better person with the church. I strive my best to follow my Savior's example through His genuine love He concern for everyone. I want to be like Him someday. This is what I find central to the church, and it is so family oriented. Families are forever!

How I live my faith

I strive to live up to my potential as a child of Heavenly Father. I love my ward of Single members with the goal of Eternal Marriage for each of us. No matter what trials I face in life, I know it's for my good. I know Heavenly Father watches over me continually and lifts me up, when I am down. He is my salvation! I work with the full-time missionaries and love them and the new converts. I also served the Lord for two years as a missionary, in the Philippines sharing the restored gospel of Jesus Christ. My parents met the missionaries on their front porch in New Mexico state when they converted.
