Hi I'm Andrew

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have a wonderful family of 4 great kids and happily married for 17 years. I'm an IT professional who loves to see what new technology provides. I enjoy going playing in the great outdoors with family and can't get enough of those breath taking views of nature. I also enjoy playing a variety of sports but now that I'm a little older it's best I've become a spectator at my kids game. Coaching my six year-old soccer team is a treat. They are so goofy at times that you just have to laugh. Being with family is my top priority.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born in a wonderful family of 7 kids with parents that are faithful members of the church. While being taught the gospel all my life there were moments in my teenage years where I seeked out to know for myself whether things were true. Prayers have been answered testifying that the things I had been taught are true. Living the gospel principles each day teaches me how to live my life. For I know all good things come from God and that he loves me. Last year my mother passed away from cancer. It was the hardest thing I had ever gone through. My mom was special and the most influential person in my life. When she was 14 she overcame polio yet dealt with it's lasting impacts here whole life. She truely had an amazing gift to see the positives in everything. She never complained about her aches and pains but just wanted to dwell on all the good things happening in life. When She passed away I knew exactly where she was going and that I would be with her again. I have never felt the Savior's love more strongly than during this heart breaking time. What a sweet calm and peace feeling which is provided to us that have faith.

How I live my faith

I'm currently serving in my ward's bishopric. My favorite thing to do is the teach the youth about the gospel. I've also been involved in our local scout program for almost 15 years. It's a rewarding experience to see these young men grow up and begin families of their own.
