Hi I'm Morgan

I'm a Mormon/Military-man

About Me

Convert, Being a convert was the start of my LDS life; struggles, hardship and the military was how I became who I am today. Growing up in a traversal family it was very hard for me to chose. I have had to learn which denomination was the truth; from listening to my family, and even some that have left the church; was a struggling decision for me. When I was younger I have had my Grandfather's attitude about Joesph Smith; "how was a fourteen year old boy a prophet?". I started to learn about this information when I got older. When I was sixteen I decided I was not going to serve a mission, but go to college. Then when I was in my senior year of high school, I decided to go on a mission and I even had some of a life changing experience. After I went into the military, and had some things happen to me serving in the military. I had to have three surgery's, and then I had to learn how to walk all over again. having some other issue's in the military, from serving in the war, I was able to get my life back on track again. I found the church, and have come back with a bigger testimony. After dealing with some things that I would never wish on my worst enemy, I saw God the father, our savior and the church through the Lord's eyes for once. This is somewhat about me, and who I am. I am a Latter Day Saint.

Why I am a Mormon

When you have many controversial things happen in your life with pain, sorrow, remorse, anger, and sadness, you will have a life changing experience. I remember one day I found myself out on the street, and homeless, I then said if I could have a second chance to life, I would take it. I was dealing with some major issues from serving in the military and I have sunk to the bottom of the ocean. I was penniless, homeless, and even spouse-less I needed to change, and get help. I decided to go get the help I needed, and got better at the hospital. I then told the Lord if he would give me a second chance to life, I promise I would change for the better, and never look back. I have done it all, and I honored my family. I then started going to church, it was a struggle at first, but then it got easier through time, and even love. I then saw myself grow, and become this new man; this man was able to get in the Lord's presence, and ask, than receive forgiveness. He forgave me of my sin's, and I repented of everything that I had done in the past. I now have my temple recommend and I have not been to the temple since 2005. It was the most beautiful thing to me. I became Mormon because I have been on both-side's of the fence. All I can say is the Lord's side looked a lot better for me. I refuse to go down that road ever again. I can testify that this is the true church, and the Book of Mormon is true. I have felt the Holy-Ghost bear witness to me that these things' are true. My life is great and this is why I'm a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I go to church every Sunday, I attend all meetings, and even started to go back to the temple. I will be going in the future twice a week, and up hold my covenants for the rest of my life. I have been called to be a publicist, which is someone that sends out the announcements to everyone, and I will take pictures of everyone that comes' to the ward. I go to priesthood meetings' and even listen to conference. I listen to the leaders, and the prophet speak, and do what he asks; remember he is only told what to do by our father in heaven. I read my Book of Mormon, and pray continuously each day. I gain a testimony of the church, and gospel. I can say after some life transitions, I do know this is the true church.
