Hi I'm Britta

I'm a student. I've been called to Samara, Russia to be a servant of the Lord. I am a Mormon

About Me

I am a student at a local university as a French for Teaching major. I love my job working in the garden center at Home Depot.I enjoy being in nature particularly in the mountains. I love my adorable dog Scout with every ounce of my heart. I am currently on a mission serving the people of Samara Russia and loving every moment of it.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know without a single doubt in my heart that it is true. I have felt the love of my Savior and my Heavenly Father all throughout my life even as a small child. I know that I am loved and that this gospel is the gospel of happiness and that our Heavenly Father wants the best for us including happiness and joy. Our entire religion is based around happiness and is centered around Jesus Christ. I know that the Book of Mormon is true and anyone can know of its truth by simply asking. This entire church started because of a question and I know without a doubt that God answers my prayers and hears my questions even the ones I consider silly. I know God cares about me and my well far and that I will return and live with him again someday.

How I live my faith

I live my faith the best that I can. I may not know everything and sometimes I struggle but I keep pressing forward. When I am faced with a problem or trial often times I will find myself on my knees asking for help and direction from my Heavenly Father. There is a quote from one of the prophets where you are only your tallest when you are on your knees. My motivation for going on a mission is to let other children of God know that they are loved and there is hope through Jesus Christ and his atonement. I know this is true with all of my heart.

What do Mormons believe about the nature of God?

Mormons believe that God is wise, all powerful and above all kind. We believe that our Father in Heaven is merciful and knows each of us on a personal level, to the point where he can call us by name. He listens to our prayers and is aware of our daily struggles and hardships. He wants us to feel love and joy in our life and helps us achieve where we as mortals can not. We believe that we are created in God's image and that we will eventually be able to be reunited with him after our death. He loves us Show more Show less
