Hi I'm Camille

I am a wife, a mother, a dental hygienist, a decorator, a blogger, and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am a wife and mother of two. I work part time as a dental hygienist, but full time at home: meaning I: try to rationalize with an irrational (but AWESOME) 2 year old, teach and re-teach the dynamics of "sharing," clean up crayon drawings on the wall, unclog toilets stuffed with rolls of toilet paper, make one child pb & j while the other wants mac & cheese, and try to decorate and redecorate my house on a zero budget... And I LOVE it!

Why I am a Mormon

Honestly, it just brings my life happiness; especially during life's difficult times. I was born and raised in this church, but feel I have always had a testimony. It's truths weren't given to me profoundly or dramatically, just simply over time, through my asking. I love that this gospel is centered around Jesus Christ as our Savior, who loves me (imperfect and all) and made it possible for me to be forgiven of my weaknesses, if I try to repent and be better. Although I won't be perfect, it's okay. I am so grateful for the opportunity we all get to be with our families (who are my life) for eternity, if we strive to live worthily for it. I have also come to know the Book of Mormon to be another testament of Jesus Christ; again, through specific asking in prayer. I have come to understand that Joseph Smith saw the Father and Jesus Christ as two separate beings and restored this church on the earth today. There is a lot of peace that comes in knowing these things, and it's just awesome.

How I live my faith

How I live my faith is not only doing what is asked of me willingly, but finding joy in it. I have had various "callings" in the church, a lot of them teaching, but currently I am planning activities for the youth (that are centered around serving, building character, and growing closer to our Savior) and just loving it! I try to keep in contact with people around me (also known as visiting teaching) so they know that if they need anything, I will try to be of service in anyway I can. I have loved my friendships that I have come with that "calling!" Reading my scriptures (especially the Book of Mormon) and prayer daily is a "primary answer," but I live my faith by doing that too.
