Hi I'm Debbie Hall

I grew up in Virginia so I'm a Southern belle even though I live in Arizona now and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a mom of five daughters and a grandma of four boys and one girl. I love being a grandma. After my youngest daughter was in her senior year in high school I went back to college and majored in Elementary Education. Now, because I love working and helping children so much, I substitute teach. I love that I can touch the lives of children who need a hug or a word of encouragement and rarely get it. If I can make a difference to one child, it keeps me going.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I believe in Jesus Christ as our Savior. He has provided a way that we may repent from our sins through his sacrifice. When I think of the pain that He had to suffer just for my sins, I cannot even imagine that pain magnified by others sins also. I am heartbroken to have caused Him pain. I want to live my life striving to be more like Jesus. That is a struggle each day for there is so much I need to do to improve, but I am trying.

How I live my faith

I love to serve my Heavenly Father by serving others. In our church I direct the music in Sacrament meeting. I love music so this is fun for me. I am also a visiting teacher, which means that I visit sisters in my ward and check to make sure they are doing well or need help. I have sisters that I have come to love dearly and would really miss visiting each month.
