Hi I'm Chad

I am an Texan father of six. I make maps, music, and motion videos for a living and for fun. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I've been married for 16 years to my high school girl friend, and we have six wonderful children. In addition to four energetic children by birth, we have two that are adopted from east coast states (they also have their share of energy). We have lived in California, Utah, and Arizona, and each of us comes from a large family, which means lots of aunts and uncles. I graduated from BYU with a music major, and love to play music in all kinds of situations, be it popular or sacred music. For a job I am a GIS analyst for commercial real estate companies - in short I make maps on a computer for stores, banks, and malls. I also went to school to learn all about video technologies, which makes its way into various parts of my life.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up a member of the Church, with both of my parents active in youth leadership programs. Over the years my studies from the scriptures have lead me in paths of happiness while I have seen others around me take paths that have caused disruption of important relationships in their lives. This is a testimony to me that the teachings found in the scriptures are given from our Heavenly Father. I have also felt His closeness to me through the Holy Spirit as I made decisions in life that have required wisdom beyond my own. My faith grows as each experience reveals more of the spiritual in the daily life.

How I live my faith

I love to play organ for our congregation, as well a participate in talent shows, choirs, and holiday programs. I also like to be with the youth, including the Boy Scout groups and children classrooms.
