Hi I'm Britain

I grew up in California. I'm a lawyer, an artist, and a mother of four. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a California girl at heart, but I moved out here to the the desert almost 7 years ago when we started our family. It was a big change going from full time lawyer to full time mom, but it has been the best decision for us. This is our new home, we love it here! Since the big move, we have welcomed four children to our family.

Why I am a Mormon

To others, it might seem like I'm a Mormon because of how I was raised. I guess that's part of the answer. I'm very blessed to have wonderful parents who lived faithfully, took their children to church each Sunday, and encouraged us to follow the Gospel as we were taught. But I am a Mormon because after leaving my parents' home, I tested those beliefs. On my own, I learned that living my religion made me happy. By being faithful I met friends who inspired me, I found a husband who encourages me, and together we began an eternal family. I am a Mormon because I believe in the teaching of Jesus Christ and i know the Gospel helps my family be happy.

How I live my faith

Living my faith is more to me than going to church on Sunday. I actively participate in my ward in many ways. I recently completed service with the young women ages 12-18, and now I'm learning about different resources available for those seeking employment. I hope to help others prepare for interviews, write resumes, and other activities to help them find employment. Most importantly, I live my faith through my relationships with others. As I strive to follow the Savior's example of reaching out to others, I become a better wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend.
