Hi I'm Christian.

I love to play soccer. I love my family. I speak fluent Swedish. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the proud father of 4 daughters...yes, I said 4 daughters. It is fun to see the different personalities in each one. Love the fact that each one is an interesting mix of me and my wife. Born in California but moved with my family to Arizona when I was very young. I consider myself a native. I love to play soccer and play as often as I possibly can. My wife used to think that I would "grow out of it". She has realized now that this just isn't going to happen. I love how a bunch of players can come together to create something on a soccer pitch. Love the teamwork. Served a mission in Sweden when I was 19 and fell in love with the country. I love the language and have tried to teach it to my children. They have also been attending a Swedish school once a week for the past 6 years. I think they are finally starting to get it. I also work as an engineer. I love my work. It helps people and fits my personality. One last thing, I have in the past 2 years learned that I love to sing in a choir. I recently joined a choir and love to perform.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a member my whole life and am grateful that I have been taught to live the gospel. I know the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is the Christ's church restored to the earth. I learned this for myself as a young man preparing to go on a mission. While preparing, I asked in prayer if the Book of Mormon was true. I needed to know it since I would be telling people that I knew it was. While praying I realized that there was no doubt in my mind that I knew it was true. Throughout my life I have felt my Savior's love. My heart has been touched when I hear truths and the Holy Ghost has born testimony to my heart that what I was hearing was true. When I hear the truth God had blessed me with the ability to recognize it.

How I live my faith

I currently teach the 5-year-olds in Primary. However, I enjoy teaching within any organization of the Church. I have served in many capacities but teaching is by far my favorite. I love to meet new people and make new friends. I try to be a friend to everyone even if they don't have the same beliefs I do.

Do Mormons worship Joseph Smith?

We know the Joseph Smith is a prophet of God, just like Moses or Isiah. He was called by God to restore the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the earth. We was a man but a man who was an instrument in the hands of the Lord for restoring his Church to the earth and giving us the Book of Mormon, which is another testament of Jesus Christ.
