Hi I'm Kelly

I'm a happily married husband, dad, and proud grandfather. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Presently, I'm a fourth grade teacher at a charter school in Arizona. I've been an educator for 32 years. My favorite hobbies are reading, watching old movies, gardening, and playing with the grandkids.

Why I am a Mormon

I was converted to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints 43 years ago as a teenager. At that time I was searching for answers to my purpose of life. The church was able to help me understand where I came from before this life, what the purpose of my time on the earth was, and what my future would be after this life. I'm eternally grateful for the blessings of this knowledge along with the daily opportunities I have to learn and grow in the gospel to become a better person.

How I live my faith

The special blessing of being a member of the church is that we are able to receive special opportunities to serve each other and our friends and neighbors. The gospel has taught me that as we forget ourselves and serve those around us that our lives will be happier and in return we will receive special blessings and friendships. I have been blessed with numerous opportunities to serve in the church. Presently, I'm a ward missionary. My responsibility is to go out and visit members of the church and also with those individuals who might be interested and have desires to learn more about the gospel of Jesus Christ. I thoroughly enjoy sharing this special message of happiness with those I visit with. I know that as we follow the gospel of Jesus Christ we will have our searching questions of the purpose of life answered and we will be able to have the inward strength to overcome the trials of life and find the happiness we seek.
