Hi I'm Danielle

I have a degree in finance. I have an autoimmune disease: Sjogren's Syndrome. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

After high school I went to college to major in fiance. While there I met and married my husband. After college we moved to Colorado where he now works. Due to complications from Sjogrens I am unable to work but I enjoy doing acts of service for others. I also enjoy doing art projects and giving away my paintings to friends and family.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the church. For as long as I can remember I knew that I had a testimony of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I developed my testimony through study and sincere prayer. My family had a weekly Family Home Evening where we would have the opportunity to listen to and give lessons about gospel topics, as well as bond with each other. Living the gospel of Jesus Christ helps guide me and keeps me going in the right direction on the straight and narrow path. I know that if I follow His commandments I will be blessed. The gospel also helps me avoid making painful mistakes. The gospel also helps me to be happy and have a long term perspective. So that when life gets hard, I know that I can turn to Christ and he will comfort and strengthen me.

How I live my faith

The way that most exemplifies me living my faith is by doing service for others. I volunteer as a Webelos Den Leader and I enjoy seeing my cub scouts get excited about learning new things. I babysit other people's children so they can have a break / run errands / go to doctors appointments. It helps me feel useful and connected to others. I also play the piano at church.
