Hi I'm Ashton

I love to laugh, sing, play piano and paint. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love music. I especially love to sing. Ever since I was able to, I have been in a school choir. doing that has opened up many opportunities for me. I also love to read and do oil paintings. I am going to school for speech therapy and eventually I hope to be able to enter the profession and help people in whatever way I can.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints all my life, but I have grown a testimony of my own and know that it is true. I have seen the blessings that have entered the lives of the people around me. I also have seen and am very grateful for the blessings my Heavenly Father has given me throughout the years. This world is so full of beauty it amazes me every day and it testifies to me again and again that there is a Creator. From the way I have grown up, the people I have met all around the world, to the opportunities I have had, I know that God is my Father in Heaven and that he loves me and cares for me.

How I live my faith

In my church I have been able to help a lot in the music area. Growing up I learned how to play piano, and so I have played many times for church when we all sing together. I have helped with teaching classes, and I love every opportunity I get to help out with the little children.

What are some things that tell you there is a God?

Ashton
Everything around me tells me that there is a Supreme Creator. I just can't imagine that a big bang could produce such beautiful flowers, amazing ecosystems, and above all humans. Every day I find something amazing that our Heavenly Father created. I am fascinated with the beauty of this earth. From the icy expanse of the Arctic to the rainy green forests inhabited by thousands of species of animals. Moving on to the miracle of us. Our bodies are so intricate, with the ability to grow, heal, and reproduce. Our bodies are huge evidence to me of a God. Only a God could create something so intricate. From big organs that do many things, to little organs, bones and hormones that may seem insignificant from looking at them, but have a wide influence on how our bodies can work. I have a testimony that we are all created in the image of God, and that we are here for a purpose. Show more Show less
