Hi I'm Chad

I grew up in northeastern Arizona. I am a dad, husband, and Family Medicine Resident. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in a small town in northeastern Arizona but have lived in the Philippines and the Caribbean. I have been happily married for 9 years and my wife and I have 4 children - 2 boys and 2 girls. I am currently in my second year as a Family Medicine Resident. I always tell people that being a doctor is something I do, but being a dad is who I am. When not at work I love spending time with my wife and kids. We enjoy a wide variety of activities. I have recently taken up road biking and have enjoyed spending some time out on the open road on my bike. It gives me time to think, make some goals, and get in some exercise. As a family we are involved with soccer, baseball, gymnastics, 4- wheeling (my wife's favorite), and camping. Most of all we just enjoy being together.

Why I am a Mormon

Being a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has been one of the greatest blessings of my life. The Church is an organization that exsists to help us become better people by following the teachings of Jesus Christ. I have been a member of the church for my entire life, but I have come to to know the church is true as I have seen the benefits of the gospel in my life. As I have read the Book of Mormon and other scriptures, prayed, followed the counsel of living prophets, and obeyed the commandments I have felt Heavenly Father's comforting reasurrance that the things I am doing and reading are what He would have me do. My life is richer, fuller, and more meaningful with the knowledge I have as a member of the Church.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by being the best father, husband, and neighbor I can be. While I fall far from the mark, I strive to be Christlike in all that I do and stand for good things in my work, community, and country. I volunteer with the teenage boys at our church in the Boy Scout program. I recently have had the opportunity to assist the boys as they progress toward achieving the rank of Eagle Scout. Boy Scouts is a program we use in the church to help the young men develop character traits that will assist them for their entire life including developing love of country, God, and their fellow men.
