Hi I'm Megan

I have grown up in Maryland, Arizona, and Virginia. I play guitar and write. I'm about to serve a full time mission! I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I play piano, and guitar. I love writing. My life in high school is fun but has lots of challenges. I love listening to others and to help them with the problems that they have.

Why I am a Mormon

At first it was because I was born into the church. But after I had moved out on my own I stopped going to church and decided that I didn't believe in it anymore. A few years later I realized I was miserable. I hated the job I was doing, and my friends encouraged me to do things that I never normally would have. But when I realized how unhappy I was I knew I needed a change away from any influence but my own. I moved cross country, and started to go to church again. At first it was really hard, I didn't want to put the effort in to change. But the more I put into the gospel the more I got out of it. I look back at the leap of faith that took moving to a new city, and a new life, but I would not change that for the world. I love who I am and I know that others can come to that same love and happiness through the gospel of Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

In my branch I am the chorister. It is a wonderful perspective to look out and see all the people who come to church week after week to come together as brother and sisters. I am about to go on a full time mission to the Philippines and I cannot be more excited to help the people living there!
