Husband, father, live in Colorado and enjoy all it has to offer. I own a couple of businesses and breed Vizslas and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I enjoy all that Colorado has to offer. I cycle to and from work on my modified Giant OCR c2 road bike all year. During the summer I like to go rock climbing, camping, hiking, and cycling. During the winter I like to go back country skiing, I love Loveland pass because it is free! ha. I love doing stuff outdoors and the changing of each season. Just when I get tired of the weather, it changes so that I always look forward to each season. I build fiberglass speaker boxes for car sound systems. I also own a custom carpentry business which allows me to use the gifts Heavenly Father has given me to brighten up people's homes. My wife and I Breed our Vizslas Rusty and Ginger so that the locals can enjoy the breed as much as we do. Enough with my hobbies, I use my Class A CDL to provide for my family and I enjoy all of my professions and appreciate all that The Lord has done for me and strive to increase all of the talents he has loaned to me to lift up others and provide them with service to meet their needs. My wife and i plan to have a large family because it will prepare us for our eternal lives together, not to mention help provide bodies for those souls in the pre-mortal existence waiting to inhabit bodies. We have a son already and look forward having as many as Heavenly Father wants to bless us with.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm 6th generation Mormon but I did not receive a testimony until I was 20. I was baptized at 8 which is the age of accountability in our Heavenly Father's eyes, but never paid any attention in Church and had no desire to worry myself with spiritual matters. I went through my life in a spiritually selfish manner but I was always physically generous. I had my transgressions, but God never gave up on me. He waited patiently for me to come back to his fold and acted immediately when i did. It all started with me, wanting something more from life; something I was missing and needed, but didn't know exactly how much I needed. I knelt down one night in humble prayer for the FIRST time in my life. This was exactly what He desired of me and because of his love for me, sent his servants to me. These servants I speak of were a set of his full time missionaries which paid out of their own pocket to sacrifice 2 years of their lives to the service of The Lord searching for those desiring to receive His great message. These faithful missionaries were "tracting" (which is a fancy word for knocking on doors spreading God's message) not knowingly searching for me by name but only felt inspired to tract this specific area I was then living, when they knocked on my door. However, I was not home because I was working 16 hour shifts at work during the daylight hours that they were tracting. They proceeded to come by for about 3 weeks with neither of us knowing that they were sent their for a specific purpose- to bring me back to The Gospel, until finally, I was asked to run a night route which I had done previously during my employment there. This move changed everything! The morning after my first night filling in for this route...the missionaries knocked on my door for the 4th time. Finally, I was there to be reached. God knew I was ready and shortly thereafter, I started coming to church and built my testimony and have been active ever sense that fateful day!

How I live my faith

Since I have come back to the church, I've seen how having the gospel and the Priesthood in my life have been such an amazing blessing in my life. Because of this desire I developed a strong desire to bring others this same happiness which I enjoy. Unfortunately, I was not in a position to serve a full-time mission (though I wanted to greatly), so my Bishop felt inspired to call me as a Ward missionary. This has allowed me to serve as a missionary within my capabilities and I have loved being able to share my testimony with those in my area and show them the love which I have for them and for Jesus Christ. I've served as 1st councilor in the Sunday school Presidency and was able to work a lot with the youth in our ward and set an example for them. I look forward to opportunities to share the gospel with those whom I come in contact with and also for opportunities to provide service for those in need. I seek out those in need as well as donate Fast offerings to the church so that our Bishop can use those funds prayerfully to meet the needs of those within our ward boundary whether they be members or not. I engage in communication with my Heavenly Father through prayer so that I can strengthen our relationship and become more like the Savior. I love to learn from the scriptures and seek out understanding through the Holy Ghost. I always feel so empowered when I study and retain knowledge which is contained in those holy scriptures. It makes it much easier to share the gospel with others when I'm armed with the companionship of the Spirit to help me recall information i've studied in the scriptures.
