Hi I'm Ingrid

I'm a wife, mother, vizsla breeder and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a mother of one a son...well mother of 4 if you count my husband, and our 2 vizslas (type of dog). I love being a wife and mother. We plan on having a fairly large family so there will be more on the way shortly. I love the outdoors-jogging, hiking, biking, rock climbing.... I'm the type of person that needs to stay busy and feel productive-so I usually have some sort of craft project I'm working on whether it be sewing, scrapbooking, crochetting, or taking something seemingly useful or ugly, and putting it to work or making it beautiful. When I had a piano available I used to be an avid singer/songwriter, music at one time in my life WAS my life (even did some recording)-but for now I'm an appreciator of music. Goals:-Love my husband better each day- Teach my children that they are loved children of god -Rediscover my love of music -Take up photography.

Why I am a Mormon

I like many was raised in the church, and baptized and given the gift of the holy ghost at age 8. I was taught how to make good righteous decisions which allowed me to have the constant companionship of the spirit-which reveals all truths to us. So I had from a very young age a strong testimony of the gospel. I was however lured into temptations, and found myself not living my life in a way that invited the spirit. This was a very hard time for me, I became very miserable, and angry. It was then that I realized the extreme importance of the presence and influence of the holy ghost in my life. The true and full gospel of Jesus Christ has been restored to the earth through the prophet Joseph Smith, and with the restoration of the gospel the priesthood was also restored, and the priesthood is necessary for the sacred and saving ordinances set apart for our salvation. Such as baptism (and the gift of the holy ghost) endowment, sealings. etc. It is through these ordinances that I have found such happiness, hope, and understanding of my purpose and potential. I know who I am, where I came from, why I am here, and what is required to get where I want to go. This knowledge and other truths have been made known unto me through the testifying power of the holy ghost. I have been given something that I can't deny-and that is why I AM A MORMON.

How I live my faith

I pray to my Heavenly Father daily for opportunities to serve others, whether it be someone I meet at the store, gym, or gas station. I pray not only for the opportunity to serve but that I may be made aware, and given the desire or strength to act. I try to treat all those that I come in contact with, with love and respect. I sieze opportunities to share my testimony with others. At church I have held many callings from pianist to children's sunday school teacher, ward missionary, served on activity committees, and try to volunteer where help is needed. I support my brothers and sisters in their callings, and sustain my church leaders.
