Hi I'm Karen Jolly

I'm a passionate gardener, soccer coach, cub scout den leader and busy mother of 5. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love the outdoors, gardening, hiking, biking, playing soccer with my kids and living in the beautiful Northwest. I have 5 children and am the grateful mother of a childhood cancer survivor.

Why I am a Mormon

I was baptized a member of the church at 8 years old. My parents were members of the church. My grandparents and great-grandparents were members and my great-great grandparents were pioneers, so I have a long history in the church, but ultimately each of us reaches a point in life when we have to decide for ourselves whether we want to stay actively involved in the church. I'm a mormon because I love my Savior Jesus Christ and my Father in Heaven and want to return, with my family, to live with them again.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith everyday by striving to follow the example of the life of Christ, learning more about His word, loving and serving others. I

What do Mormons believe happens to us after we die? What do Mormons believe about life after death?

I am so grateful to KNOW the answer to this question. I think I had taken this knowledge for granted until I had a young child undergoing treatment for cancer, most children (and adults) in that situation eventually ask "what will happen to me when I die?" I met many parents who didn't know how to answer this question. I was so grateful to be able to tell my child "This life is not the end, your spirit and body will come together again and you will be resurrected, just like Jesus. I WILL see you again, you will be with those you love again!" Show more Show less
