Hi I'm McKay Noll

I am a missionary from Washington State serving in Georgia! I love Jesus Christ and what he has done for you and me! I'm a Mormon!

About Me

My name is McKay, I was raised as a member of the church all my life but became a real convert to the church in my teens and have seen the hand of God in my life and have a testimony that I want to share with everyone I meet!! I come from a loving family that is crazy with 4 kids and no dull moments in the house! There is always some place to be or a new joke to tell or something hilarious on pinterest that the family found, the list goes on and on. I love my family to pieces and they are my everything!! I have been going to college for the past few years studying electrical engineering at BYU which has been a difficult learning experience. My ultimate goal is to be a robotics engineer or reverse engineer (haven't decided for sure yet). In my free time I enjoy reading novels like Harry Potter, Hunger Games and other fantasy books. Playing Ultimate Frisbee has become one of my newest hobbies, but most of all I enjoy talking and laughing with my friends and helping people I don't even know!! I am currently serving a 2 year service mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in the Georgia Macon Mission!! It's a lot of work and a lot of fun at the same time. I consider it a great blessing to be able to help other come closer to Jesus Christ through the message of the Restored Gospel that I get to share everyday with those I meet!!

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up as a member of the church and always went to church with my parents and I have grown to love, respect, and cherish the gospel of Jesus Christ. As I went through my early teenage years, I went through a lot of struggles as I was exposed to the life of Junior High and High School and I struggled to be happy and overcome the challenges of the world. I tried to do things with my friends that I thought would make me happiest, but in the end, I found true happiness in the Gospel of Jesus Christ. In those years that I struggled, I read the Book of Mormon and prayed to see if it was true and now I have developed a testimony of the truthfullness of the Book of Mormon and that Joseph Smith is a Prophet and that the Church is true. Over the past couple years, I have continued to learn for myself that the Church is indeed true and most importanly, that Jesus is The Christ, the only Begotten of Heavenly Father and that He and He alone has suffered for all the sins of the world, including my own!! I know that we have a Heavenly Father who has a plan for all of us and that HE LOVES ME! And I couldn't ask for anything more than a loving Father in Heaven how knows me, has a plan for me, and loves me regardless of my shortcomings. To know that he sent His son to willingly die for me so that I can live again is truly the gift without worldly price. I know that The Church of Jesus Christ that was organized since the world began is now the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints!

How I live my faith

As a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, I go to church service every week and me and other young men my age do our part to carry out the proceedings. I work with many other members to help serve others in my community and fulfill the needs of others. I also go to member's houses and sit down and talk with them and help them in any way that I can. Currently I am serving as a Full-Time Missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Everyday, we as missionaries read and study scriptures and then go out and teach everyone about the church all day and everyday. It is truly amazing!! We also serve others in the community and seek out those who need out help or would like to hear our message about the gospel. It is the best!

Why is family so important to Mormons?

McKay Noll
Families are so important to our faith because it is the unit or group where we can find THE greatest happiness and progress in this life and also in the life to come! We find great joy in bring new sons and daughters into this world through families were we can begin to find that perfect happiness. It also teaches more about our relationship with our Father in Heaven and his relationship with us as His spirit children. Because of that true happiness, everything in the gospel applies first to the family. When we preach of serving, love, charity, patience, and all other good things of the world, it all has to start at home. Because of this wonderful opportunity, we worship as families in our church meeting house and also in Temples across the world. We believe that in the temple we can find unity as a family and preform ceremonies that bind or seal us together as a family unit together forever and continue to have familial relations after death. The family is meant to last forever and to continue after this life. Because of that, we focus on the importance of families and our relationship now and for eternity! Show more Show less

Who founded Mormonism and The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints?

McKay Noll
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints was organized by The Savior Jesus Christ himself through the direction of a man named Joseph Smith. Joseph was called as a prophet when he was visited be our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ in answer to his prayer of which of all the denominations where true. He was told by Jesus Christ that none of the churches or organizations were true in saying they were the Church of Jesus Christ. Over a number of years of preparation spiritually, the Prophet Jospeh Smith was visited by other heavenly angels who help direct the reconstruction or restoration of The Church of Jesus Christ that has existed since Adam. The Church of Jesus Christ in these Latter-days (or last days), was organized April 6th, 1830 by Joseph Smith under the direction of Jesus Christ. I know that this is true because of the perfect organization and structure of this church. True the people aren't perfect but the church is. I have prayed long and hard, studied, and probed to know that it is! Show more Show less
