Hi I'm Debbie

I have lived in Idaho in the U.S. all my life and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have been doing people's hair for 41 years and I still love it. I am married also for that long and have 4 children and 5 grandchildren.

Why I am a Mormon

I chose to be a Mormon, out of desperation. I wanted to raise my family different than I was raised and was at a total loss as to how to change me and my family dynamics. I prayed to my Father in Heaven to guide me to help me change. I was very scary to me the first few years, as my husband did not come with me until 8 years later and my self image was not good. But watching other family s love and lead one another, I learned to love myself, and others as well how to parent and be a loving spouse. By attending church, I learn from every class. I feel Heavenly Father, and Jesus Christ's love thru the holy ghost and others kindness and love.

How I live my faith

In my church group I am blessed to lead the music in our women's meeting and a church choir. I love music. In my community I donate time to CASA which is a organization that helps children that for some reason have been involved with the courts. Like neglect, or drugs, violence, etc.

Why do Mormons perform baptisms for the dead?

Debbie
We baptize people who have died without the chance to know of Jesus Christ and his church that has been restored to its original. Heavenly Father and Jesus Love each person that has been born on the earth, and wishes to bless each. But there are requirements like faith, acceptance of Jesus as the Christ, and a willingness to take on the name of Christ. By baptism for those, they still can choose weather or not they desire to be counted with us or not. I'm so grateful to know Christ loves us enough to give us all a chance for baptism.
