Hi I'm Corbett

I live in Arizona. I love cycling, triathlons and bowhunting. I'm married to Kim with four great children and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm married and am a father of four. I'm in sales and marketing and my passions are cycling, triathlons, bowhunting and spending time with my family.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church but like everyone else, I had to learn whether my beliefs were true or not. To that end, I spent my teen years studying scriptures, praying, etc. to find out whether the gospel was true. Just prior to my embarking on an LDS mission I had a strong confirmation that the gospel was indeed true. As I've matured, I've realized that all of the good things in my life have been as a result of the gospel.

How I live my faith

I've spent almost 20 years working with the young men and the scouting program in our church. I've definitely done my share of taking other people's kids camping. I've enjoyed every minute of it though. Currently I teach a gospel doctrine class on Sundays and am learning a lot and having a great time.

What is the Word of Wisdom that Mormons talk about?

God knows that having a healthy vessel in which to house our spirit (in other words...our body) is critical to having the most succesful and enjoyable experience of being on this earth to be tested. To that end, he has given us a simple health code to follow which is that we abstain from: - Tobacco - Alcohol - Coffee and tea - Illegal drugs God promises great physical and spiritual blessings to those who follow the Word of Wisdom. Science will agree with these principles that were given to Joseph Smith nearly 200 years ago. I can confirm that the Word of Wisdom is inspired and I have received all of the benefits of it by abiding by it. Show more Show less
