Hi I'm Rob

I'm a husband & father of 4. I'm a small business owner. I'm an avid cyclist/triathlete and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I moved often as a kid and experienced many interesting people & places, from Arizona to Idaho to Alabama. As a result my sports teams are a reflection of the many places I've lived over the years and the experiences that that thas brought to me. I love following my Arizona Wildcats, as well as my other favorites the Alabama Crimson Tide and Denver Broncos. I spent many years, however, in Tucson, AZ where I met my wife and attended college at the University of Arizona. We have 4 children ages 11 to 3 years old that keep us very busy. I coach my boy's pee wee football and girl's softball teams and occasionally find time for some of my hobbies such as a taking off on an early morning road ride on my bike. I enjoy mountain biking, as well, and have recently began competing in small sprint triathlons as part of my mid-life crisis therapy. A few years ago I left my software engineering job to buy a water utility business here in Show Low, Arizona. It was a difficult transition, but one that has been well worth it. It has opened doors for me otherwise left closed and has afforded me time to be more involved in my childrens' lives. My wife and I work the business together and that has been very rewarding. It has also become very rewarding to deliver a quality product and serve the community around me.

Why I am a Mormon

The gospel of Jesus Christ is the center of my life and is the basis for everything I do. The gospel has brought a peace and clarity to my life that I would not have otherwise. The principles taught in the church help me to be a better man, to strive to be my best self. The church helps strengthen my family and guides me to be a better father to my four children. I am able to be a better husband because it has changed my perspective on my relationship with my wife. I cannot imagine my life outside the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by applying the principles taught on Sunday and living the commandments of Jesus Christ throughout my week. Being a Christian is a 7 day a week thing with me. Christ's life here on earth was one of service. I have a developed a more Christ centered life by serving my wife and children, my church congregation and the people within my community.
