Hi I'm Todd Richards

I'm a father, grandfather, a professor at the Univ. of Wash. and I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

About Me

I am a father and husband, my wife and I are the parents of six daughters and have 7 grandchildren. I play the guitar and enjoy playing songs with the children. I am professor of radiology at the University of Washington and I do research with magnetic resonance imaging of the brain. We had a recent NBC special on our research.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have received a spiritual witness that this is the church of God and that this church is where I am suppose to be. Although I was raised in the church and am grateful that my parents taught be the gospel, I still had to gain a testimony of the truthfulness of the church for myself. I believe in personal revelation and I was able to communicate with my Father Heaven to find out what He wanted me to do with my life.

How I live my faith

I serve as cubmaster in our local pack. I also serve as Stake employment assistant where I help job seekers in our area find jobs. I enjoy playing my guitar for the children in my wife's primary class where she teaches the 5 year old children.

What are some of the ways that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints helps those around the world?

I was able to help with a group of members of our church that went to help at the site where the Teton Dam had damaged homes. Show more Show less
