Hi I'm Brent

I'm an Equine Veterinarian and father of five. I have been married for 48 years and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Phoenix, AZ from the time I was five years old. I attended grade school, high school and college here in Phoenix. After four years of veterinary school in Colorado, I served in the Army for three years. Following that I filled a one year internship at the Veterinary teaching hospital in Davis California. I have been in private practice in Phoenix since then. I hike, fish, ski and travel to visit family. I now have 24 grandchildren and love every one of them.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born a Mormon but went through the conversion process as a young adult. Reading the Book of Mormon as a companion to the King James Bible was a powerful influence on my conversion but the prompting of the Holy Ghost "sealed the deal". I have served in many leadership capacities over the years including about 18 years as a Boy Scout leader. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints has blessed my life and gave me understanding and of the purpose of life. I believe Families are forever.

How I live my faith

I try hard to follow the tenets of the Church such as a strong heath code, morality, thrift, industry and service in the church and community. I attempt to be informed on issues in the Nation and vote in every election.
