Hi I'm Thomas

I'm Canadian, I love hockey, skiing, and playing the drums. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm studying at university right now and we just had a little baby girl. While she is a handful, my wife and I try to make sure we have plenty of time to spend together and we love to find fun things to do around campus. Being Canadian, I love winter. There's nothing better than going out to play some pond hockey or getting to hit the slopes with the family.

Why I am a Mormon

While I was raised in a Mormon family, staying involved in the church has always been my choice. Through reading the Bible and the Book of Mormon, I found out for myself that God is real and He answers our prayers. Following the teachings of Jesus Christ is a commitment I have to make every day, and I know that as I do my best, I can experience more happiness and peace in my life than I could through living any other way.

How I live my faith

Something I love about the gospel is that it isn't a once-a-week thing. Sure, we go to church on Sundays, but following Jesus Christ means helping those around us and trying hard to be a good person. The Church is really good at organizing community events like food drives for the Food Bank and doing service projects, and I really feel like the big events and the small, unnoticed acts of service help me be a better person.
