Hi I'm Maria

I'm a Mormon mom in Hawaii.

About Me

I am a mother of three great kids. I have a science teaching degree but for now I use my teaching skills I learned in college to teach my children to read, explore science, and love learning. I love swimming, jogging, and being a mom.

Why I am a Mormon

I love my Savior Jesus Christ and feel that the fulness of Christ's teachings are found in the Mormon faith. I love how I feel my Savior's love when I attend the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints anywhere throughout the world. To me, that helps me understand that God loves all of us.

How I live my faith

At Church on Sunday I get to teach the three-year-olds about God and His Son Jesus Christ. Each Monday evening, my husband and I teach our three children about our belief in God and our love for Jesus. We read from the scriptures each day as a family and then I personally find time to pray and study the word of God. I feel like making the time to invite God into my day makes me a better mother, wife, and neighbor.

What is a “testimony” that Mormons speak of?

A testimony is a statement of our individual beliefs, or a statement of the things we feel are true. Show more Show less
