Hi I'm Judy

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am fifth in a family of six, three boys and three girls. I have been a member of the Church of Jesus-Christ of Latter-Day Saints all my life. In my younger years, I spent a lot of time on Lake Powell, houseboating, water skiing, fishing, and loving every minute of it. We also went camping and rode motorcycles every day. I learned to sew and have a mother that is an incredible seamstress. I have five great kids! I love doing things to make something old like new again. I rebuild furniture and do trim carpentry. I love to create fun things for my house like decorated cork boards and picture frames. I love to spend time with my kids. We still ride motorcycles (but I don't like camping so much anymore). We laugh and joke together a lot. I think being able to laugh at yourself is very important! I also think everyone deserves a place to be where they are free from judgement and feel accepted.

Why I am a Mormon

I love being a Mormon! I couldn't imagine a life where I didn't know where to turn to for emotional and spiritual strength when I need it. I'm so grateful to have been taught good values and ways to live my life so that I can be closer to God. I know the Book of Mormon is true. I have read it several times both personally and with my family. I have asked to know if it was true and that answer has come to my soul. I have a testimony that Jesus is the Christ, our Savior, our Redeemer. I always want to be a part of His church.

How I live my faith

Heavenly Father has blessed me so much. I want to give something back. I teach in the Primary which is the young kids in our church. I teach the 10 turning 11 year olds. They are a blast. I try each day to do things that will keep my spirit close to God's spirit, like reading about Jesus and the prophets in the Bible and Book of Mormon and saying my prayers. I am raising five kids and I am teaching them about the Gospel of Jesus Christ so that they will be able to teach their kids and so on. I want everyone to know that God loves them and to be able to feel his love.
