Hi I'm Harrison

I live in Gilbert, Arizona. I am a high school student. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a junior in high school. I live with both of my parents, and I am the oldest of five children and twenty-nine cousins (and counting). I have lived in Arizona all of my life, and I love the heat here. I have always had a love for science and flight, and aspire to be a Nanoscientist. I love to play the piano and ukulele, invent things in the garage, and work with my Dad painting and fixing foreclosed homes. I am now an Eagle Scout and I love scouting!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a good family of the Church. I have always believed in miracles and divinity. I have had many miracles happen to me, which are basically my "proof" that the Church is true.

How I live my faith

I believe that to be a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, I need to be an example everywhere I am, even outside of church, and especially at school. I can show this by being an example in the way I talk and act.

What is being a Mormon like?

Most of the time when I tell a friend that I am a Mormon, they instantly reply, "Oh. Do you hate it?" But my answer is exactly the opposite, and most of the time it surprises them. I love everything about the Church, especially the sense of peacefulness that I get when I attend the meetings. It provides me with a group of friends who are very similar to myself, and I know that it will never lead me astray in life. Show more Show less

Can a husband and wife be together forever? Do Mormons believe that families will live together in heaven?

I am sixteen and am of course not married yet, but I have a testimony that families can be together forever, and I know that a husband and a wife can, too. I know that the strong feelings of love within a family are meant for much more that to just live with them on Earth, but there is and eternal purpose for the structure of the family. How can I know Mormonism is true?

The most powerful Being in the universe can be your best friend. He knows everything about you. At first He may seem like a pretend imagination who could easily be made up as something to get you through life, but once you get to know Him, it is just a great feeling that your eyes and mind have been opened. Heavenly Father is real, but the only way you can know that is through the Holy Ghost. You must read the words of the prophets, which can be found in places like the Bible and the Book of Mormon. When you pray as Moroni directs in the Book of Mormon, Moroni 10:4-5, the Holy Ghost WILL TELL YOU IT IS TRUE. You will recognize the Holy Ghost when you feel it. There is no other feeling like it.
