Hi I'm Lorraina

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a college student and I love learning, writing, singing, poetry, hiking, exercising and playing guitar. I have four older siblings, and many adorable nieces and nephews. I also have some amazing parents. I love my family! I plan to go on a full time mission and then study in the field of health science. There is so much to do and learn so I always try to be productive. I love being part of this church because it encourages me to be my best self through the gospel of Jesus Christ!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into an active Mormon family, so I have no huge and interesting conversion story for you. Or maybe I do. I have had my time of questioning, as many who are born into the church do. I have gone back and forth, talked to many people about religion. However, I have come to know through experience the power of the spirit of God, and I have began to recognize how real it is in my personal life. I have found that while being a member of Christ's church I feel closer to him than through any other means. I have developed a deep love for this faith and a love for God because of this faith. That is why I am Mormon.

How I live my faith

I truly love people and want to see everyone happy. I know that we can't be happy all the time in this life, but I also know that the gospel brings comfort to the afflicted. I also seek learning and experience because I want to be more capable of contributing to my family and those around me. People are God's greatest creation and in his eyes all are of infinite worth. So I try to see the good in everyone, and accept everyone for their unique differences. I follow the rule "don't judge someone because they sin differently than you."
