Hi I'm Matt Pyfer

I love music, I play 4 instruments, I attend BYU Idaho and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love music and my family more than anything! I've played guitar for 7 years, the piano for 2, the drums for 2 and have been singing for as long as I can remember. I have always had a special interest in computers and law enforcement. It's been my life dream to combine those two passions together in a career by being a computer specialist for a federal law enforcement agency. I have four main goals in life: Go on a mission, get married in the temple, major in Computer Information Technology, and be an FBI agent.

Why I am a Mormon

I love the church and what it does for my life, and what it does for others as well. The church gives me direction in my life through prophets and apostles that receive modern-day revelation. When I pray to Heavenly Father, I can receive that revelation as well. I am a Mormon because I know that the church is true.

How I live my faith

I faithfully go to church, home teach, and fulfill my responsibilities as a Young Man in the Church of Jesus Christ. I do my best to be an example to everyone around me, share my testimony when appropriate and keep the commandments and covenants I have made.

What is being a Mormon like?

Matt Pyfer
A lot of people believe that being a Mormon is hard. But once you think about it, if you are righteous, you will receive blessings. So being a Mormon is actually pretty easy. Every so often, you will get some people who think they know more than you do about religion, or just life in general, and they will try and put you down because you are a Mormon, but when you realize that what you believe is true, nothing can come in the way of your values and beliefs.
