Chris: Mormon.

Hi I'm Chris

About Me

I was raised in a small mining town. I am the second out of four children as well as the only boy. I like to be creative and write stories or draw comics. I love to hear about the life experiences of others. I enjoy exploring and going on adventures especially the adventure of life itself. I am engaged to a wonderful young woman who also loves the gospel.

Why I am a Mormon

I never really questioned my beliefs. I had always just felt this is where I need to be and stayed. At least that was until I went to Chile. That's when I really gained my testimony. I saw countless of people living without the gospel in their lives and I saw many others who had the great blessings of the Gospel in their lives. I realized how happy living the gospel made them. Now after returning from Chile I live everyday realizing and recognizing the blessings God has given me through his gospel and what a blessing the Savior's Atonement is in my life.

Personal Stories

Please explain the part prayer plays in your life?

Prayer is one of the greatest gifts we have. It allows us to talk with our Father in Heaven. Every time I pray I make it personal as if I was talking to a close friend which is exactly what I am doing. Every time I pray I can feel God's love for his children. When I feel scared or depressed I just take a moment to express myself to him and then I wait and listen for his spirit and I always feel at peace afterwards. Prayer plays a major role in my life because it helps me keep in touch with God just like a cell phone helps me communicate with my family when I am not near them.

How I live my faith

I love to volunteer for service. When ever someone needs help I'm there ready to serve. I am also a home teacher. Which is to say I visit other members of the church, with another male individual, and give an uplifting message and see if there is anyway we can help them and their families.
