Hi I'm Christoffer

I'm a son, a brother, a singer, a scuba diver, a college student, a cook, an outdoors-man, and... I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am eighteen years old. I am currently serving a proselyting mission for my church in Fukuoka, Japan. I am a son, a brother, a college student, a musician, a cook, a outdoors-man, and future doctor/business-man. I love music! I enjoy singing choral and barbershop music, but really I'll sing anything with good harmonies and an uplifting message. In college I was part of a barbershop chorus, and I've been a part of multiple academic choirs. I've been playing piano for about 9 years now, and I also know a little guitar. I love to surround myself in nature. Attending college at BYU has given me a wonderful opportunity to hike into the beautiful Rocky Mountains. I am a certified PADI scuba diver. Swimming under water with the creatures of the sea is a breathtaking experience. I also enjoy exercising and playing sports. I am passionate about the human body, health, nutrition, and healing. I hope to pursue a a career in alternative and natural medicine after my mission. My father, a native Norwegian, has shared his Norwegian culture with my family. My family is very important to me. Without them I don't know where I would be. They are my best friends and closest confidants. I am forever grateful for the uplifting influence they are to me.

Why I am a Mormon

Because I sincerely asked God for an answer, I know. (Moroni 10:3-5) I know that through Joseph smith the restored Church of Jesus Christ that was once on the earth has been restored. I know that I can be forgiven of my sins because Jesus Christ suffered for them. He paid the price, so I don't have to. I know that through Jesus Christ I may be resurrected and have the opportunity to live with my family forever.

How I live my faith

I outwardly show my faith by my actions. I attend church. Currently, I am serving a 2 year mission, I pray daily, I study the scriptures to strengthen my faith and find answers to my everyday questions. But my faith is more expressed in private. When life gets hard, I turn to my Savior. When I need help I turn to Him. When I have doubts, I turn to Him. I know he lives today.
