Hi I'm Hannah Roy

I'm a Texan. I'm a photographer. I'm an art and music lover. I'm middle sister. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a very busy teenager with loads of extra curricular activities. I am a stage manager and i spend all day and all night on the stage with my closest friends. In my spare time, I polish my piano and pyrographing skills. If i had more time and sunlight, I would work on my baby, a 1987 Porsche 944. I am also a grease monkey. Besides cars, I love to spend my time with my mum's camera. I have always been a amateur photographer but have recently discovered my love for film and the making of. Though being a apart of the film industry would be a fantastical occupation, I think I would better enjoy pursuing anthropology. It would give me the opportunities to learn about a variety of cultures and serve those all over the world. I could also incorporate my photography in it. I am also very independent, doing most everything on my own.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the faith. Like many others, I was spoon feed my parents testimonies. But as I have grown older and more mature, I developed my own testimony. I know my Savior lives and loves me. Song and music are my biggest supporters of his love and my testimony. I feel the spirit strongly through the hymns and other spiritual music. Being independent, I do not let others actions influence my own, so I know when I follow my Lord, that I am doing it because I want to; because I know it to be true.

How I live my faith

I live my faith daily. Every morning, before the crack of dawn, I a rise and attend my favourite activity of the day, seminary! Its a six o'clock morning church class devoted to teaching the youth the gospel and preparing them for a day in the world. I love seminary. I am not forced by my parents or bribed to attend. I go because I love the feeling of the spirit and learning new things about the gospel to share with my friends. I love having missionary opportunities. I pray for them daily and am rewarded with the opportunity to share the gospel in little or large ways with those I come into contact with. Being a member of the Stake Youth Committee, allows me to serve my fellow youth and help plan activities where they can bring their friends and likewise have missionary opportunities.
