Hi I'm Don Kenney

I design and build miniture golf and water parks and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a father of four and grandfather of eight. I love the ocean and if I had no other constraints would spend two days a week boogie boarding all summer long on California beaches. I degreed in Electrical Engineering but left the “true faith” for the construction industry where I found an outlet for my creative instincts in building miniature golf courses and water parks. My wife and I recently served an LDS mission in Mozambique, South-East Africa. It was a very broadening experience as we served, taught and grew to love the people in that corner of the world. I am amazed but no longer surprised how the obedience to the principles of the gospel of Jesus Christ lifts people and nations from poverty, ignorance, and despair.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Morman because it makes sense. Of all the religions I have encountered this is the only one were the doctrin all fits together and makes sense to me. I have seen it change people from the inside out and make them happier and give them hope. I have had the witness of the Holy Ghost to lead and guide and protect me as I have fulfilled the responsibilities in my life and in the church.

How I live my faith

I have served on various counsels in the church. One of my favorite callings was to be the Scout Master for three and a half years. I had served many years with the youth in various capacities but found Scouting the most rewarding.
