Hi I'm MacKenzie

I am a stay at home mom of three young children, I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am married to a wondeful husband. I am going to school, and I have three sweet children all under the age of 4. I enjoy singing, and have really been enjoying reading thanks to our ward's book club! I am also serving in the Young Women's program and truly enjoy it. My husband also works with the youth as our ward's Scoutmaster, and I am happy that we can both serve with the youth, and I really love being able to spend time with him during our combined Young Men/ Young Women activities! :)

Why I am a Mormon

One of the greatest blessings of being part of this church is to have the blessings of the Temple. Being able to be sealed to my family for eternity is such a wonderful blessing and experience. Part of being sealed means that we have to endure to the end, and although at times it's challenging it is so rewarding, so I say bring on the challenge! I also love knowing that I am a daughter of God. This gives me great confidence in knowing who I am, where I came from, and what I am to do on this earth. I am a Mormon because of the wonderful blessings and knowledge that I have been able to experience and gain. I know that this gospel is true.

How I live my faith

I have a few callings. Right now my biggest calling is being a mom. Our divine role as women is to be wives and mothers. I am so grateful that Heavenly Father entrusts us with His children. I am also serving in my ward in the Young Women's program. The youth that I serve with are awesome. They teach me and help to grow better as a mother. I help plan activities that will help strenghthen their faith and help them to grow and prepare for their lives as a wife, mother, sister, daughter, and friend. In the youth program we have also been able to reach out to the community. We have done a few service projects, whether it be painting buildings or cleaning up a neighbors yard, or washing cars! Service in the church is endless and so are the blessings that come along with serving.
